Build the customer-area scope
Start at the entrance, then follow reception, consultation desks, waiting areas and washrooms. The available floor around displays and vehicles should be clear before the task list is priced.
- Accessible showroom floor and interior glass
- Cleared reception and sales surfaces
- Customer lounges and washrooms
- Sales offices, staff kitchens and agreed waste points
Account for changing vehicle positions
The floor available for cleaning may change with stock and displays. Dealership staff retain the keys and responsibility for moving vehicles. Vehicle washing, polishing and detailing are separate from this property-cleaning service.
Define the handover for desks and counters
Sales and finance records, computers and personal items stay under dealership control. Agree which surfaces will be cleared before the visit and what must remain untouched.
Separate the showroom from the service shop
Customer-facing service reception can be listed in the brief. Mechanical bays, hoists, machinery and oily workshop residues are not part of the general showroom and office scope.
Use both departments’ hours
Sales and service reception may operate on different schedules. Give the provider the actual occupied hours, permitted entry window and periodic floor or glass requirements to assess.
