THE WAY YOUR PROPERTY WORKS

Considered care. For your everyday.

Residents, deliveries and visitors share the spaces between the front door and each suite. Give those areas a clear cleaning plan, whether your Burnaby property is a tower, a smaller building or part of a mixed-use address.

01

Connect the entrance to every serviced level

List lobby finishes, entry glass, mats, elevator interiors and corridors by floor. Add agreed amenities and common washrooms as separate rooms so their use and access are visible.

  • Entrance mats and accessible lobby glass
  • Elevator interiors and common corridors
  • Shared floor surfaces and agreed touchpoints
  • Authorized amenity rooms and common washrooms

02

Keep residential and commercial areas distinct

Buildings around Metrotown, Brentwood, Lougheed and Edmonds can bring different uses close together. If your address has homes, shops or offices, identify which entrances and rooms the strata or manager can authorize.

03

Plan around an occupied building

Record move bookings, deliveries, evening amenity use and routes that must remain available. Cleaning access should be agreed with the building contact before a schedule is accepted.

04

Record finishes and periodic work

A carpeted corridor and a hard-floor lobby need their own scope. List material restrictions and discuss periodic carpet, glass or floor work separately from the routine visit.

05

Give concerns a room and a contact

Set a reporting route for an inaccessible area or a task needing follow-up. A floor-level record is more useful than an unlocated complaint, and it should avoid residents’ personal information.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Are private condo interiors part of strata common-area cleaning?

No. A common-area agreement covers the listed shared spaces. For a private home being sold or moved into, use the Pre-Sale & Move-In Cleaning enquiry.

Can a strata request include retail premises at the same address?

List the premises separately and identify who can authorize them. A strata common-area scope does not automatically cover a tenant’s business interior.

Are parkades or high windows included?

Only if separately assessed and expressly included. Different equipment or specialist arrangements may be required.
