A building-wide score can hide the room that needs attention. Make your cleaning review specific enough to show the location, the agreed task and the next step.
01
Use the same room list as the proposal
A review is easier to interpret when its floor names and room labels match the service agreement. Separate office, common-area and business scopes so an observation is assigned correctly.
02
Choose observable points
Discuss what can reasonably be checked at a reception surface, accessible floor, meeting room or washroom fixture. Agree the criteria with the provider rather than assuming every visible mark represents the same issue.
03
Distinguish access problems from task problems
A locked room, an incomplete agreed task and additional work are different situations. Record which occurred and the contact who can resolve it.

Agreed action and follow-up record
04
Keep reports useful and private
Describe the surface and concern without photographing private papers, customer records or residents. Any reporting method, including photos or a dashboard, must be agreed rather than assumed.
05
Update the plan when the building changes
Tenant changes, an altered room use or a different opening schedule can make an old checklist less useful. Agree revisions to tasks or frequency and record when they take effect. When a room or floor finish changes, revisit the product instructions too. WorkSafeBC’s label and safety data sheet guidance helps identify which information to bring to that discussion.
Does the website provide live reports of cleaning visits?+
The 3D building and examples illustrate possible scope discussions. They are not records of actual visits. Reporting arrangements are confirmed with the provider.
Can strata and tenant-office issues use the same checklist?+
They can use a shared format, but the areas and responsible contacts should stay separate.
Does a visual review certify sanitation?+
No. It records visible observations against agreed criteria and does not certify a health outcome or clinical standard.
