Before photographs and viewings
Identify the rooms that will be presented and the surfaces that can be cleared. A pre-sale request can cover accessible floors, kitchens, bathrooms, entrance areas and agreed interior glass in a vacant or occupied property.
- Entrances and accessible floors
- Cleared counters, shelves and agreed surfaces
- Kitchen sinks and bathroom fixtures
- Mirrors and agreed accessible interior glass
Before moving into the new space
Describe what will be empty, furnished or still in use when access becomes available. Include expected possession and moving dates so the provider can assess the time available before boxes, furniture or equipment arrive.
Choose any additional interior tasks
Empty cupboards, drawers, ovens or refrigerators may be requested. They are included only after condition, accessibility and the specific task are agreed. Personal items, food, stock and equipment remain under the owner’s control.
Prepare the building handover
For a condo in Metrotown, Brentwood, Lougheed or another Burnaby neighbourhood, add the suite number and confirm any sign-in or elevator arrangements. Keep the private-unit request separate from strata common areas. For a commercial property, identify the customer, office and staff rooms being prepared.
Match the date to a confirmed scope
Provide the address, room count, approximate area and target photography, showing or move-in date. A request does not reserve the date: provider, availability and price are confirmed before work begins. Mention unusual conditions or renovation debris early so work needing a separate assessment can be identified.
